Diamond Head
A 370-lot Diamond Head estate auction closed December 2022. The collection centered on decades of deliberate accumulation: display cases packed with medals and collector pins, rare coins, signed artwork, antique Morse code keys, natural stones, and fossils. Not a typical house-clearing. A collector's estate.
Coins and medals dominated the lot list. Liberty coins, a 1979 L'Hirondelle Doublet, bison penny pendants, and sports medals filled 16-inch display cases across dozens of lots. Pins ran deep too: Lions Club International, USA Military, EURO sets, and extensive Disney, Muppets, and Olympics series. Artwork included unframed signed pieces, ladies and frog-themed works in assorted sizes. Antique Morse code keys appeared alongside natural stones, fossils, and pottery. The kitchen lots were equally specific: Saratoga Olive Oil Co. balsamic vinegar by the case, an Imperial Crystal Vodka set with metal decanter, a Peregrino bottle holder, kitchen wrap dispensers new in box, and culinary tools throughout. Books filled the secondary lots.
